I sell wedding rings. I get several emails from customers every day asking how to select their finger size when ordering. Why can't an International ring sizer be introduced to Ebay? bob24carat

Very useful, but the background music was irritating. Also didn't cover any differences in post and packing costs for different variations.
Such a great idea, but it's a pity on the Vehicle Parts & Accessories category there's only Motorcycle Clothing & Helmets available for variation......
When will you guys add more variation for the Vehicle Parts & Accessories category?
Or even better, we can add our own variation for the category.

How do you adjust p&p when different sized items obviously weigh different weights?
I do have multi-variation listings but one of them shows the highest price on the listing rather then the starting price. I think this is putting customers off!
I have been using MV listings, but there seem to be a few glitches.
- SKU is not put into the sales record, so is absolutely no use to me when picking the stock. When we have input the SKU, could it be reported in the sales record please?
- Additional postage calculations are not helpful, if a customer orders several variations of the item, the postage is calculated as the one time postage for each item, it does not use the additional item postage amount.
- Some listings show the lowest price item, some the highest and one shows a mid price - this is confusing and can be misleading to buyers. It doesn't help the listings that show a high price.
Finally - how do we get these points addressed? I have tried contacting ebay, but have had no helpful response.

you have to relist all items TO QUALIFY For a variation listing, you can not alter a "LIVE" listing TO>> VARIATION'S LISTING .
Auctions that are GTC will only benifit if they need variations of size/style/colour..ect ,
If each size has a different price this also can be added to reflect the changes .

-I Have noticed if i start each multiple variations PRICE at the lowest price first IE:> £1 .£1.20 .>>>> £5 it will show lowest first only on general search .. BUT if i search for the item that has the highest price variation it will only show highest price on search . so it does mostly work .
yes i quite agree with chromiumtech,this is not at all helpful for sellers using vehicle parts and accessories,there doesn't seem to ever be help for us...if you list a car that your breaking for spares,it gets removed as they want you to list every single individual part.....

Great improvment
This was a useful video, but gave me barely indication of cost. First I'd like to know how much it could save me financially as a seller, before getting into the nitty gritty of how to do it. I'm still none the wiser after watching the video.

Having created a multi variation with 7 sizes, off ebay we had sold out of 3 variations so temporarily removed them from the ebay listing. Once they were back in stock as the item had received purchases in the meantime on the remaining sizes the ebay listing system does not allow me to add the sizes now in stock without ending the whole listing and then relisting. No one can tell me if I relist I will lose the top page position I have gained thru sales.???????
Is there any chance we will be able to include Best Offer with Variations any time soon?

I agree with the various comments from Vehicle Parts and Accessories sellers. I was looking forward to be able to use multiple listings in Classic Car Parts where I list new old stock parts e.g. Piston Rings come in various sizes, as do shell bearings. Why is this section excluded?

It was useful. but I found that the first couple of pages seemed to be different.
Also I got my listing to do 18 variations and then found I could only add 12 pictures. Is this correct or have I missed something?

I only sell 'Classic Car parts' and stupid EBAY have removed the most important category for my business !! Your new listing procedure is far to complicated and time consuming ! I could do with a 'New Old Stock' category for my items that I sell as well.
'Buy it now' is now a waste of time with the 40% ceiling. And I am still waiting for EBAY to add an option to add the contents of the package below the buyers address label for the customs. IE Contents
ld Motor Car parts. Value:£20 which would save me writing it on every parcel.

OK but how to use if You have "Isale" or "garagesale" programs ?? You basicly can do that at all !!! You have to do all new listings for every item you sell .
