Hi, I sold an item recently and packaged the item up when the listing ended, so that I just had to post it once I got confirmation of payment.
When I got confirmation of payment the next morning, I posted the item immediately.
The buyer contacted me the next day to say I had used the wrong address. He had changed his address between bidding and checkout but I had taken the address from the order details screen after the sale ended but before checkout.
He said he needed it to be at the other address, his girlfriends, before Friday (sale ended Sunday, posted Monday, attempted delivery Tuesday) for his girlfriends holiday - my listing never guaranteed to get it there in that time anyway - so he has paid next day guaranteed delivery to post it to her and wants me to pay it because its my mistake.
Should I pay it? I'm not going to have much left from the sale by the time i've paid it.
