To qualify for seller protection then you need to send items to the address as given on the PayPal transaction and send via a tracked means.

However, items with a value of under £46 would be covered by a standard proof of posting certificate from the Post Office in the event of the parcel going astray - although claiming can be a problem and you may have to fight to get back your full amount.

Depends on whether you want to take the chance.

If buyer has items sent to their 'other' address regularly then they are better to add and select this address when paying for items on their PayPal account.

There's no reason why they can't add the delivery address to either their eBay addresses, then select it when paying via eBay checkout, or as a Gift address in their Paypal account, again selecting it when paying.

You'll have no Seller protection if you don't ship to the address that PayPal provide you with, either of the above will sort that.

If a buyer told me that no-one else has had a problem, and couldn't simply add an address and select it, I would view that with suspicion.

No, No, No.... You are right to have suspicions! why have they not changed there address on paypal, i could maybe understand if it is a sudden change, 1st time and everything and forgot to change it, but by their own admission they have asked othet people to post to a different address...I would ask kindly for them to change their address on paypal and point out that paypal offers no protection if posting to another address... If that was me I would never ever post to another address, I persoanlly would post only to the address on paypal... if you have to refund the paypal they have paid and tell buyer if they want to post to another address send a cheque or postal orders!!!! they will probably say no as it offers no protection!!!!! exactly i would say... Anyway you are in  a horrible postition... you either post to a different address and run the risk of losing your item and money OR stick to your guns and risk negative feedback... Anyway please name and shame this buyer so people can add them to their block list as they are playing games!!!
