have a live auction, if i block the high bidder does ebay cancel his current live bids or just not let him make any new additional bids?

have a live auction ending in couple of hours, is x5 day auction

had an initial early bid at the highish start price. have two more

bidders now, one of which is making strange bids and has already

retracted two bids, the underbidder has made three bids to try to

become high bidder he did but the strange pattern bidder then

rebid higher to become high bidder now. in between he has

retarcted one bid. then as high bidder he made a further bid

which he has now also retracted? although still high bidder.

bidder has x2 negative feedback in last 2 months [selling not

buyer activity].

am concerned other prospective bidders will be put off and not

bid at auction end believeing current high bidder is not real.

if i block the bidder now do ebay just block any further attempt

to bid or do they also retract any current live bids at sametime.
