Issuing a refund? Paypal says I have no funds. Help please?

Hi,

I am trying to issue a refund but this is waht comes up:

There isn't enough money in your PayPal balance to issue a full refund. Please add funds to your PayPal balance to issue a full refund or add a bank account and issue a refund by debiting money directly from your bank account.

I do have funds in my paypal. But my balance is in euro while the listings are in GBP. I searched this problem on google and people said they changed the curency to GBP and so I tried to do that. But the GBP is still with 0.00 while the euro has around 100 euro.

What can I do?

Thanks

Hello,

Have you changed your default currency to GBP?  On the account overview page click on the currency converter link (to the right of your balance), select the GBP radio button and click on the Make Primary button.

Then, to the right of the change default section scroll down a little and select Balance conversion from the drop-down box, from Euro in the next box down, the amount you want to "exchange" in the next box down, then select British Pound Balance in the next box, then calculate (and you'll see how much is going to end up in your GBP balance) then either adjust the Euro amount if not enough to cover the refund or click continue if all is ok.

When you've made the refund you can change your default back to Euros if you want.
