My cash on collection auction has been won by a known spammer who bids on items and then never pays or makes contact.  He has 7 feedback and has done this for all 6 of his winning bids.  Is it still possible to cancel his winning bid ??  What can I do ??  Can I offer the item to the second placed bidder straight away ??  Appreciate any help.  Many thanks.

you need to complete the UPI process after 4 days and close 4 FULL days later. They will get a strike on their account.  You could email the under bidder to see if they are still interested and let them know that they will receice SCO after the case has closed

set your requirements to block those with 2 or more strikes

Just out of interest, why use private listings. These are generally used for items of a sensitive and adult nature.  It can also put bidders off as it can hiode shill bidding.

Why didn't you use 'blocked bidder' facility,if you knew the bidder was a 'spammer'?

do not leave a neg comment on the buyers feedback as it can be removed putting a black mark on your account.
