buyer not received item

My buyer paid promptly and the item was dispatched. The buyer has since reported that she has not received the item (I do have the postage receipt), and opened a case through the resolution centre. I've not had any correspondance from ebay regarding the matter.  Should I have had any communication from ebay?? what do i do?

Hi,

 

Believe you should have received an alert/message to notify you a dispute had been opened - but never been through the process myself.

 

As you can't provide a tracking number to prove delivery, then you will need to refund the buyer in full and then file a claim with R.M.
