A bidder who cancels after ai

I have a problem as a bidder won an item but then had to cancel as it was pick only and they live too far away to pick up, the amount is showing up on my account as waiting for payment and I have been charged sellers fees, I have been in touch and she wants to cancel, I am ok with this but she does not know how to cancel her end, I have advised her to contact ebay this has been going on for a week now, I am unsure what to do, as I cannot relist the item for resale, please can someone help and advise me what to do, thanks.

You have to send her the cancellation form.

Hover over the Customer Support tab, top right of this page, and go to the Resolution Centre.

Really this person is a time waster and  a non paying bidder. They must of known where you lived as it says on your listing or did they expect you to post it>

Are you sure you want to risk the mutual cancellation?. It has been know for buyers to ask for one and then refuse it leaving the seller with the fees and the buyer can still also leave feedback and dsrs.

You may be lucky but for non paying bidders you should open a non paying bidders dispute.

That way you get your fees back and they can not leave feedback. They get a strike which makes it more difficult for them to buy and do it again to some other person

You would be doing other sellers a favour by opening  dispute against this time waster.

I presume if the bidder can manage to buy on ebay, they can manage to read a sellers listing properly.

lately there have been bidders deliberately bidding on collection only items hoping to pressurise the seller into posting .

If you  decide against a mutual and do a non payers dispute this is how you go about it.

Open a non paying bidder dispute after four days and close after another four days. You get your fees back and the buyer gets a strike and cannot leave feedback.

At the side of the item click More actions then click Resolve a problem to open the dispute.

You should always sort out one sale before trying relisting or a second chance offer as you could potentially end up with two buyers and one item.

If they both paid you could end up with a non performing seller strike

Never do a mutual cancellation for a non payer as they could decline it and you would still have the fees to pay and they could leave feedback.

Non payers are time wasters.

Do not be tempted to leave positive feedback with a negative comment. This can be reported and removed and you will get a black mark on your account

Most people have their preferences set to block bidders with two strikes.

You only added the words ' no international bidders' today at the bottom of your listing where most wouldn't see it.

You should have blocked them in your ' prefermces'[

You may get bad feedback if you do not send.

You should find out the postage costs for Bulgaria and send a new invoice
