As above, it's easy.

FYI an ID change won't stop someone you are having difficulties with from finding you, (if that's the problem), if they have saved you then your ID will keep coming up.

Your new and old ID are visible for one month after changing.

The only cure for this is a change of a/c, but you would lose your FB.
